State Bolívar

If what we like is the adventure tourism we will go toward the south road to the Canaima State Bolvar we find one of the best gift that the nature gave to Venezuela.

Their rivers are very mighty, as the Orinoco, Caron, Aro, Caura, Ventuari. The waters of the Caron are dammed in the Guri to produce electric power.

In their hills and mountains there is a great mineral wealth as the iron, bauxite, gold and diamond

In this state one of the places is more recommended for the tourism: The Great Savanna; with their beautiful savanna plateaus, their mountains of great height that belong the mountain mass Guianese (el Macizo guayans) and in her we will discover the Jump ngel (Salto ngel) or Churum Meru in the dialect pemn, it is the fall of higher water of the world with their 976 meters, being also considered by the National Geographic Society", the fall of higher uninterrupted water of the world with 807 meters. This jump comes off of the Auyantepuy, in the middle of National Park Canaima.(Parque Nacional Canaima) Discovered by the aviator Jimmy ngel. This tepuy has an area 700 square kilometers and a height 2.400 meters. It is since a magic mountain we can be seeing it and in question of seconds it disappears of our view due to the cloudiness. In the afternoons their colors vary from the blue to the one lived, depending on the inclination of the sun

We also have the Jump Canaima (Salto Canaima), the Jump the Toad (Salto el Sapo), the rapids of Kamoiran (los rpidos de Kamoiran), located in the kilometer 171 from the road to the Great Savanna (la Gran Sabana). and big and enigmatic tepuyes among those that the Roraima highlights; whose summit is plane and with the vertical walls and the Autana, Autana. located very near the frontier of Venezuela and Brazil. The Auyantepui (that means Montaa of God and the Devil in the dialect pemn) it is the most famous in the well-known plane mountains as Tepuy. Everything located to the southeast of the country.

We arrive to The Great Savanna (Gran Sabana) in jeep, or in light planes leaving from City Bolivar. If we make it in car we will be able to enjoy the gifts that the nature deposited in this whole area.

It is located in front of the river Orinoco. Ascending, to the right, we arrive at the Cathedral of City Bolivar with a fabulous architecture and a baptismal pile that it moves for their beauty. Beside the Church we find the wall where executed the General Manuel Piar the 16 October 1817; and slantingly the house that served him as prison. In their walls we find squares that narrate us this hero's historys. Also, there is a small room that served him as cell;; with a small silver cross and a yellow flower that say, she doesn't never wither. In the wall east we can see a hole for where to Piar, he communicated with the house of to the side. The women of this house gave to him of eating; and they maintained him informed of the last events of the city

To the left of the House of Piar, it is the house of the poetry, a little further on we find the Museum of Narrowness (Museo de Angostura). Place of great historical meaning for the country, since in that house, of big corridors, the 15 of February of the year 1819 the Libertador Simn Bolvar installs the Congress of Narrowness (Congreso de Angostura) and he reads the famous Decree of Narrowness (Decreto de Angostura); where the liberator presented a constitution projectIn the gardens of this museum, there is a majestic sandalwood tree that has more than 150 years of age. It is the only one that there is in the country

If we lean out in the balconies of the large house that has view to the river, we can see a great stone amid the river Orinoco. It is it considered, for the inhabitants of the region, as a meter of the height of the waters of the river. When the water arrives to certain mark that has the stone, it is known, without a doubt some that the river will overflow in few hours.

It is also in city Bolvar a museum of modern art The Museo Jess Soto with a great exhibition of the work of this magician of the cubism and of the cinetismo and of other painters; also, we find the House San Isidro, place where the Libertador Simn Bolvar arrived; and where find some memories of the time.

Continue rotating in their double traction and you will arrive to the kilometer 147, I you have two options. To continue toward Kavanayn, before, you will take; a curiara and it will navigate for the river until arriving the Jump Aponwao (Salto Aponwao). If goes to Kavanayn you will know the mission.

From there we go to the Pauj and then to Icabar; in the road we will see the Tepuy Chirikayen or to bed Indian. In this area they hardly live some 300 people and you, several Jumps will find: Cathedral (Catedral), The grotto (la Gryta), The Big Box (Cajn).

Following the route arrives to the camp Kavak to the foot of the Auyantepuy and of there to island mouse or road to Canaima and their tempting lagoon.

They can be carried out trips for the river Orinoco, and the Caron and to arrive until the fork of the two rivers and to see the contrast of their waters the brown of the first and the black of the other.

Beside the river Orinoco and taking for Saint Flix's road, we arrive until the state Delta Amacuro to visit the Castles of Guayana (los Castillos de Guayana). Two bunker created to defend the area of the searchers of gold that you/they went in search of the Gilding. They are the Castle of Saint Diego of Alcal and that of Saint Francisco Ass. This served as support to defend of the attacks of pirates and buccaneers.

But it is still a lot to travel in this state, that of more surface, and because to not say it, my favorite; but that you the accent to you so that they discover for themselves because it is a blessed earth for heaven's sake.
